Brian Jones was a hugely gifted guitarist who founded one of the greatest rock and roll bands. He named the Rolling Stones after a song by Muddy Waters. Near the end of his brief life Jones was the victim of mistreatment by his fellow band members, i.e. Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Stones' producer Andrew Loog Oldham. This info has been written in the diaries of Stones' bassist Bill Wyman.
