The following short story is a true account of my experience as a child, the day that Mount Saint Helens erupted. Please keep in mind that this is as it was seen through the eyes of a child, without any prior knowledge or awareness that there was even a live volcano anywhere nearby.

Earthquakes follow a similar pattern based on LONGITUDE/Magnetic lines of the earthquakes. Draw a circle around earth through the poles. All location and +- few degrees extra on that circle are considered the same location/region. For example places around 180 degrees and 0 degree LONGITUDE would be considered the same location/region.
