I would personally rather read a full length especia;;py about a complete change of reality as it takes a bit to get into and have it end. i was half way through Black Stripes when i realized it was a new story. I really enjoyed the storyline but wanted More.

I read this entire collection of short stories in a heart beat. It was engaging, full of out-of-the-box ideas, like good fantasy should be, intriguing and almost surrealist on some points.

As a non-native English speaker, Ioana has a stunning command of English and her words create beautiful images. In a world that is both surprising and intense, her characters are well written, with a dose of humor that will make you burst into the most sincere laughter possible.

Since I personally am not much into the shifters lore, I must confess her stories were a delight, making me want to read more of her fiction. I would recommend this collection for all those who are looking for something completely different, as in concepts and imagery.
