Reviews of The White Peacock

by
Juliette was the first to arrive for girl's night out at The White Peacock; a dull bar promising a lack of men on the prowl. She attracted many, yet felt they just weren't worth meeting, and after her last two disastrous dating efforts, a quiet bar suited her just fine. But in life, change is the only certainty. It is inevitable, in fact, and in the blink of an eye, her life would change forever.

You will not regret this - it's a quick read but a surprising one. You've never seen this idea tackled this way before. I could not put it down.

You got me! A complete surprise. Love it! It's an awesome story, now I want MORE of Juliette. I think I'm falling in love with her. You are a great writer: I could "see" the characters and feel what was happning as it happened. Thank you for your writing!

Well played Ms. Andrassy, well played. I think no I know I love you! That was a fantastic read. I'm so excited right now. I'm intrigued. I'm astounded. I'm in awe.

I really can't leave a proper review because, well that would spoil the experience. It is an experience too. One that you need to take on. It's so worth it!

Juliette has sworn off men. She's had a run of really bad luck and she's decided they just aren't worth it. She's strong and convicted. She's also headed out for a night on the town with her girlfriends at the White Peacock. Enter Miles the great smelling to good to be true guy she meets. This one meeting changes everything because damn he smells so good and she finds him hard to resist.

Some of my thoughts as I read:
90.0% "Oh no no no no no please don't let this be what I think it is."

80.0% "WTH?? No seriously um what...the...hell??? Did not see that coming!"

43.0% "My favorite sentence so far, "If she was going to prove the wonderfully scented sidewalk-shrink wrong about being closed off to the idea of relationships, she would need just a bit more vodka circulating through her veins"."

30.0% "Darn he has a name. I was hoping "cologne guy" would be what we called him lol."

29.0% "Cologne guy *snicker*"

You must take the journey with Juliette as she allows herself to be swept away with this great smelling, green eyed man.

I am so looking forward to the rest of the journey!

I finished this story and over the last day it has popped into my mind many times as I got my Ah-hah moments. A very good twist and the potential for more.

What a great read! It's one of those stories that runs around your mind long after you've closed your eyes to the last word. I can't wait to read the rest of this story!! I am fairly good at figuring out the plot line in novels but the author definately shocked me here. I had no idea of the twist she had in store for me! Well-written and tantalizing!

Wow. I was truly absorbed & blown away as I read this story, especially when I reached the end. I will be on pins & needles waiting on the next book because I am certain it will be just as wonderful a read as this was. Thank you for such a great story!
