Reviews of When We Were Married - Volume 3 - The Wind Is Rising - Part 1 by Daniel Quentin Steele

Don't sleep on this series!

Mr. Steele's story of the grand and the mundane in Jacksonville is a great tour of the modern American marriage. Fidelity, loyalty, punishment and redemption of very human mistakes are examined and revisited. He's spread the story out to be able to take the time to examine how the people involved in the divorce of a single couple feel the ripples, in both personal and professional ways. There's very hot interactions and enough plot to really get a almost inside the heads of the the main characters.

This series is good enough to get me to buy it. Keep going Mr. Steele!

Lol is any female in any of your stories truly faithful? Anyway, you are a scintillating author, one of the best at getting me emotionally invested, I'll definitely purchase the next volume.

This is a great story!!! I started reading it at breakfast and couldn't put it down. I finished it at midnight.

The story is a continuation of his When We Were Married series. The "old" characters continue to evolve in their lives and interactions. The new characters expand the plot and add to the story line.

By and large, I loved it.

Another great book. Reread the first two books and then this one. I makes you feel like you are actually living in Jacksonville and working in the Law Enforcement agencies there. Can't wait for the next book.

An excellent installment in the continuing saga of Bill and Debbie. As the Maitland universe expands and the story evolves, I am amazed at the ability of DQS to constantly keep the reader on the edge. It is a simple story of one man's life and highly complicated as well. Worth the read. Highly recommended.

An awesome part to one of three in volume three of DQsteele's loving wives, courtroom, mystery drama When we were married. This may sound biased from someone who has read all of Dan's work but this is one of the best things of read to date and the best court, loving wives stories I have read. There is so many twists and turns, unbelievable but stunning characters and characterizations. A bit heavy on the violence and graphics but nothing that will bring the quality down. Don't touch this unless you have read Dan's previous two volumes which you can find on this site!

You'll laugh, you'll want to cry, you'll feel anger and a little bit of joy and most of all, you'll feel a bond to characters you may have hated at one point but will love in the latest installment. I bow with my hat off to the master and hope to see the next part soon. Seriously, just read it!
