Pulchritudinous Book 1 is about a beautiful, lonely little boy named Puck. He grew up in isolation, dreamed of friends, and longed for adventure. Book 1 is a delightful story of innocence. What a pleasure it was to tag along with Puck on his adventures and to meet his new friends. Puck’s adventures were so beautifully described that I felt I was there, walking with them along the brook and into the forests and caves.
I like this book because when I came to the end, I thought darn, it’s over. But it wasn’t really because the author gave me a sneak peek into book 2. That was a treat. I recommend this book for children that like magical adventures and forever friends. You’ll love this book so much that you won’t be able to put it down.
The author’s writing style and illustrations make for a charming book that you will not soon forget. I especially liked the authors quote at the end, “Puck will continue to travel through to his teen years and into manhood as long as I am able to type.”
