In this chapter, I will try to cover techniques that should save you time and effort when unwrapping your meshes, whether inorganic surfaces or organic, fluid forms. Further on, I will discuss more advanced concepts of UVW mapping and try to explain what those coordinates really are, how they are seen by the 3D software, and how you should approach them for best results.
