Strangers in the Woods

A cabin in the mountains near Ashville, North Carolina is the place to find solitude when you need it. This is Janis’s haven― lovely on a summer day, cozy in winter by the fire. Nothing is amiss until a sudden February storm brings cutting wind and snow, a lot of snow, to the Great Smokies. After nightfall, above the wind, a scratching on her door sends her senses rocketing into the stratosphere.
