Don Carlos Buell
by Robert Grey Reynolds, Jr
Don Carlos Buell was likely removed from command of the Union Army in Kentucky because of political motives. My ebook considers editorials in the New York Tribune that demanded a true account of how Buell was relieved of his command following the Battle of Perryville, in 1862. Documents relating to the Buell Commission and the general's court martial were suppressed by the War Dept in the 1860s.
