What Ezra couldn’t wrap his wits around was how they could all be so certain that God existed when it seemed no one had ever laid eyes on Him; and not only that, how could they all, now, at the same time, be so certain that he, Ezra, had not seen Him? Boggling.
At first Ezra had not believed what he saw either, of course.
