I titled this book "Half Baked" because in a Filipino folk tale of how man was created, man was made out of clay and put in an oven. The ones that weren't cooked all the way were Europeans, and the burnt ones were Filipinos. My mom is from the Philippines and my dad is of German descent, so I thought this title was a perfect fit.
