Hopkins on the Tower
by Carl J Weaver
In 1941, George Hopkins parachuted onto Devils Tower, and immediately became stranded. But the real story is that of Paulie, a nearby bar owner who sees his life as sad in comparison to the cocky Hopkins. And things only get worse when Paulie sees that his barmaid, Luz Maria, the object of Paulie's unspoken affections, has fallen for the daredevil.
