In most, suffering is not a choice. Most lives are limited by upbringing and surroundings, teaching and training. When exposed to other cultures and ideologies, it helps expand the possibilities. For Aida, a sheltered child, married young this holds the crux to her survival. Abused and tormented, she finds kindness and through courage discovers freedom of choice.
