West Virginia Heartaches and Triumphs of a Lady Mountaineer
by Kathie Fisher
My Mother Thelma Simmons Anderson was born in W.V. in 1922. She lived through The Great Depression with all of its hardships. This is the story of the way she overcame all obstacles and led a successful, happy life. It highlights her love for God, family, and friends. It gives a peak into the lives of the W.V. Mountaineers and the beauty of W.V., through my Mom's memories and pictures.
