When a friend dies young, it's traumatizing. To lose a friend three days after Christmas is devastating and every holiday after that is never the same. This is a short story about friendship, loss, and moving on, in hopes that some day Christmas spirit returns to the heart.
"Travis" is in my poetry collection, "Wildflowers Scattered, Estranged: Memoirs of a Small Town Girl" also on Smashwords.
