To me, the original story by Charles Dickens ‘A Christmas Carol’ encapsulates a ghost story, a sci-fi story and a moral. It ‘hits a chord' with me, and if you have a heart, most likely with you too. With very great respect to and admiration of Mr Dickens, I had this inner need to rewrite it, and update it, as to let ‘modern day’ poor souls digest the moral and spiritual meaning of the prose.
