As a psychiatrist, I was asked to interview a man who had been introduced to me as Pi Man to determine whether he was insane. He was obsessed with pi. Though weird, I determined he was sane. Years later I met up with him in Benton. He was reciting digit after digit of pi that he was obtaining from some source. This story gives details of his obsession and what it was he wished to accomplish.
