Goldi Bear and the Three Locks
by James Jay Johns
A children's story about a bear who has a human playmate and is very tecno-literate. With Papa Bear's help Goldi devises an ingenious system of locks to make her play area secure. The story provides examples of logical thinking and deduction. It is intended for elementary school aged children, but may be read to younger children. A few words may be beyond the vocabulary of some fifth graders.
