The murders of Victoria McPherson, Mary Baker, Beulah Limerick and Corinna Loring have common denominators. Each woman was young and attractive. George Washington Keefe was a less than average pitcher for the Washington Nationals during the first seasons of the National League club's 19th century existence, 1886-1889.
