Brenda Henry is a retired teacher who has contributed to various Canadian newspapers and magazines. She overcame shyness by performing standup comedy in Montreal, the U.S.A. and the U.K. and she presented comedic educational seminars
across Canada. In 1992, Brenda received an award of merit for teaching.
Brenda lives in Montreal with her husband. Jive Chalkin is her first work of non-fiction.
