Cora Livingston's training regimen is still relevant today. The world champion female wrestler considered brisk walks, of 5 and 8 miles daily, an essential part of preparing for important wrestling matches. In the early 1900s she bested much larger women, pinning them quickly because of her use of scientific methods. Noted wrestler Dan McLeod of San Francisco was one of the men she trained with.
