A wee pink creature was standing on wobbly legs in its nest on top of its broken egg, and was perkily looking about its surroundings with curiosity.
It was bald, with a shiny pink body, a paler long skinny tail and a short pink snout.
‘Not a bird,’ thought Isabella!
But - it did have small wings, though they were held tightly folded in against the back of its quivering body.
