My ebook looks at a versatile and little known major league baseball player of the pre-modern era (before 1903). I have empasized the family heritage of Tom Poorman, as well as his baseball career. Poorman played in the late 19th century, a time when games often ended in ties because of darkness. I hope that my research will create more interest in the history of baseball's early players.
