Forty years ago, Matt Reynolds was a young Methodist minister serving as pastor of the church in Pruett, a tiny village in the Piney Woods of East Texas. A murder occurred during his stint in the area and a man who Matt considered a friend was convicted. The preacher believed there was more to the story and during a homecoming he endeavors to find out the whole truth.
