Marcel Bloch's career is unequalled in the annals of French aviation his record as an airplane designer and constructor is unmatched. On entering into aircraft building in 1930 he produced light transport and ambulance aircraft until building mainly bombers for the military. In W II Bloch refused to build airplanes for the Germans but returned post-war as Dassault to build airplanes for France.
