Never, have I ever heard women speak openly about the exhaustion, loneliness and sadness of new motherhood, when their babies are new, when they’re so worn from the shock of ‘new motherhood’ they have yet to find themselves amongst the rubble of who they once were and who they may become. And never, will I ever understand why so many of us are wandering through motherhood, feeling so alone.
