My book looks at George Glamack as a college and pro basketball player. Before the NBA was formed, 1949-50, there was the National Basketball League, the American Basketball League and the Basketball Association of America. Glamack was a fine center/forward on Rochester Royals teams that won NBL titles in 1946 and '47. This was a time when pro players played in less than state of the art gyms.
