Elements of English: Verb Forms, Regular and Irregular
by Raymond Long
Many books on English verbs list only three parts: "ride, rode, ridden". This book goes further, listing ten parts. It consistently shows differences like "shrunk, shrunken" and "rotted, rotten". It lists irregular nouns like "liar" and passive adjectives that can have active meanings, like "accomplished". And it groups irregular verbs with similar forms, to show the patterns behind the groups.
