The Big Mark
by Mark Saxer
The Big Mark rides the rails, lying in wait for the con men traveling alongside him. Portraying himself as a wealthy rube, he makes off with his would-be fleecers' money before they realize they've been had. He lives like this for years, until he is found out following a failed ploy. Given a hundred days to pay back what he owes, the Big Mark must rely on his conning skills to pay for his freedom.
