Sherlock Holmes and Miss Violet Dixon (deceased)
by Dick Gillman
Holmes returns angry and disturbed after a visit to a mortuary where Lestrade shows him the body of a young woman who has taken her own life and that of her unborn child,
So begins a tale that highlights the terrible exploitation of vulnerable women through quack medicine and blackmail. Whilst Holmes has maintained the 'Rule of Law', Watson is in turmoil, unsure if they have caused further harm.
