The Convent of Santa Jalisse faced annihilation during World War II. Brutal Nazi SS occupied holy ground. Allied carpet-bombing was imminent. Fugitive student nuns prayed for deliverance. If only the Savonne River Bridge would just go away, armies would be forced to divert. Their home could be liberated. Providence answered the nuns' prayers by putting a powerful German panzer into their hands.
