The Harvest Will Come

Summer 2016 my sons and I harvested our much-anticipated sunflower crop, which we planted late 2015. It was a bumper crop, hundreds of plants of numerous sizes, some reaching four meters in height. Many plants produced large flower heads that encapsulated hundreds of seeds.
The mammoth crop did not emerge overnight; a tedious effort was compulsory throughout the growing process. As the garden....
