Greta Thunberg has reignited the flame that Al Gore began a number of years ago. Young people often realize that climate change is a threat to their future--but they seldom know exactly how it happens. When some national leaders deny climate change, or the human contributions to it, because admitting it is bad for the nation's economy, we have severe survival problems. The United States and Australia are among the nations with lying or ignorant leaders. Knowing the truth about what is happening--and why--is essential to protesting intelligently. If we are to make the changes necessary to save the planet for ourselves and our progeny, we need the hard evidence to topple the traditions that we have long accepted, such as: driving, flying, eating meat, over-using electrical power--and the major tradition of having an overpopulated planet.
The problem is thoroughly examined--both causes and effects--and a large number individual and governmental actions that can reduce and eventually eliminate the threat to our world.
