These extraordinary short stories are newly self published by a very gentle person. I have followed his Face Book writing and blog for a while. I find these all to be a generational saga of fun and entertaining memories of the author. True there is some madness, tyranny and the preternatural influence of the sixties in them, but overall the author blends the haunting power of the traditional with a modern, tautly psychological outlook of love for his family with consummate reality and in rich arresting prose. Not bad for a tax accountant.
