The Grumpy But Lovable New Yorker Guide To Enjoying Life Even Though You are Broke... And Grumpy

Rated 5.00/5 based on 1 reviews
Back in early 2009, I was writing articles for an on-line magazine. When I applied for the job, they asked me to pitch to them what made me tick. Whatever I said, they knighted me the 'Underground Travel' reporter. I don't know if that meant reporting about things below street level or they perceived me as the fringe living Bohemian that I am. I just wrote whatever I wanted and nobody got hurt.

About Heater Case

Heater Case has been a writer, musician, and artist since elementary school. He's lived extensively in New York City and Boston, with shorter incarnations in Chicago and Los Angeles. He's been pretty well off and he's been dirt poor. Other than the 'not having money' part, he says his down and out days have been the most character building times of his life. He's worked in several mental health facilities (seriously, as he puts it, he had keys), was second in command of security at a large jewelry store, and now, alongside his bohemian creative duties, he enjoys taking care of feral cats.

Insightful, funny, unique, and adventurous are words that describe both the author and the text. Whether you choose to take an actual urban journey or just a journey in your mind, DJ Hazard's book makes a great companion. I give it Five Stars or as many as you can give!
