About Elizabeth Marx

Windy City writer Elizabeth Marx writes deeply emotional romances that take her readers on a roller coaster ride through desire and despair. Elizabeth’s cosmopolitan flair for fiction makes her unafraid to push you over that first drop just when you think you know what’s going to happen next. Her writing is described as hilarious, heartbreaking, and heartwarming. Her characters achieve the ‘happily ever after’ through a journey of poignant and passionate moments.

In her past incarnation she was an interior designer—not a decorator—which basically means she has a piece of paper to prove that she knows how to match and measure things and can miraculously make mundane pieces of furniture appear to be masterpieces.

Elizabeth grew up in Illinois but has also lived in Texas and Florida. If she’s not pounding her head against the wall trying to get the words just right, you can find her in her garden. Elizabeth resides with her husband and an Aussie wigglebutt.

Elizabeth has traveled extensively, but still says there’s no town like Chi-Town.

Reviews of Cutters Vs. Jocks by Elizabeth Marx

Wow and again wow! When I saw 'jocks' in the title, I was expecting a lot of dumb-assery and actually hesitated a moment before downloading the book. However, all the positive reviews made me think twice and I am glad I cast aside the stereotype and took the time to read this little treasure. It would have been totally my loss if I had not. One of the best reads I have come across on Smashwords so far.

This is the story of Elizabeth "Libby" Tucker a "nobody" from a small town in Indiana. She becomes friends with Banford "Aidan" Palowski an all star baseball player. The two could not be more opposite. They hang with different crowds that just don't seem to click with each other.

Soon their friendship turns into something more. They are at a crucial turning point in their life, with college almost over and ready to face the world as adults. Then Libby finds herself pregnant and the decision she faces can affect the outcome of both of their lives.

A great prequel to the full length novel Binding Arbitration by Elizabeth Marx. I look forward to continuing this story to see what happens to Libby and Aiden. Fantastic read.

I have read and loved both this prequel and BINDING ARBITRATION. The prequel is a great setup to BINDING ARBITRATION, although you don't have to read it before BINDING ARBITRATION. Do yourself a favor and read both, you won't be disappointed. I have moved on to her 3rd book, To Breathe the Breath of ISIS and I am enjoying it as well. The author creates characters you really get to know, understand, and get hooked on!
