Poetic minds combined is an anthology that comprises of different poets coming together in one book and have a say on issues that affects South African society and Zimbabwe .the book addresses issues such as gender based violence, women and children abuse , rape ,depression and all the issues that many children go through everyday. The book is a medicine to those who are wounded and it is a very good way of expressing our feelings as writers to communicate with the world. These book doesn’t discriminate someone because they are unable to write poems properly. This book is an initiative to every author regardless of their culture and language. In the book we have authors from different places in south Africa such as Durban,Zimbabwe,Bochum, Mpumalanga, Limpopo and Gauteng. The purpose of the book is to enlighten and to raise awareness of the issues that many people go through everyday and the stories untold by writters in rural and urban areas. The concept used is working together as a group to archive one goal.
