About Luanne Oleas

Luanne Oleas was born in the Salinas Valley, the setting for her third novel, FLYING BLIND, winner of the East of Eden Writers Conference novel-writing contest. She lives in California with her husband, a former cropduster. She has written five novels (one published as an ebook, A PRIMROSE IN NOVEMBER) and numerous short stories. She currently works as a technical writer, and previously worked as a reporter, features writer and humor columnist for The Californian, a Gannett newspaper. Several of her columns have been reprinted in Readers Digest, Parenting Magazine, The San Jose Mercury, and on the Web.
