Of all the books in this series, this was either my first or second favorite (Temporal Contingency would be the other contender). I actually re-read Temporal Contingency before getting into Nova Igniter just to be sure I was fully up to speed on all of the nuances of the various timelines and participants. While I'd recommend doing this for full effect, and am happy that I did, I don't think it's strictly necessary. All things considered, if this is the last of the Big Sigma books, I can say that I'm happy with how it all concluded, and have no regrets having invested the time and money in this series!
