About R.A. Lee

I am a storyteller. What starts as a simple dream turns into a movie in my head and it is cathartic to put it in words. Writing is like therapy. Therapy doesn't come cheap, though, so please enjoy. I have to go, another movie is starting.

This was a very emotional read, a true portrayal of people and love evolving. Sad at times and downright angry at others I truly felt connected to the characters. Bravo!

I enjoyed this book for the most part. The author did a good job of making you understand what Brooke was going through. I loved that she stayed strong for her family and didn't let Jake run all over her. I found myself getting frustrated and angry with Jake though. **spoilers**I was irritated that it took a long time for him to realize what a good person Brooke was and that she was good for him. I got frustrated that it took him what seemed like forever to realize Jenny didn't want a serious relationship with him and he refused to let go. I thought at the end he would realize what kind of person Jenny was and see he didnt love her but lusted after her. Whenever he spoke about her he focused on her physical apperance. I didn't find it believable that he really loved her and left me disappointed at the end when despite the fact that he chose Brooke and had a baby he still "loved" and thought about Jenny.

Never enter into a contract without first reading between the lines. If somebody wants you to make their life better...BEWARE. There are times when secutity is not enough and feelings get in the way. Wanting good for others is good but you have be happy yourself. Good read...human nature story.

This review is going to be so unlike me so hang on for the ride...If you are looking for a fun upbeat romance story you are sniffing around the wrong tree. WAIT, that doesn't mean that this isn't worth reading this is by far the best book I ever read. The author has such insight when it comes to emotions, thoughts and feelings for those who have suffered lose. I was so touched at moments (by the way I never cried more during a book) I literally stayed up til 6am to finish this book I just couldn't put it down without possibly losing the trance I was in while consuming it. Were there parts I betcha lots of them but that didn't mean the book was poorly written what it meant was that the skill in writing to bring such emotion out of me was superior that my friends takes great writing ability. The story was such a strong, personal journey and at times I hated the so called hero and detested the mistress. I saw myself in the wifes position handling situations so differently she was strong, very very strong it made me proud to be female. I am going to keep this book for a very long time and read it in the future when I need a good cry or forget what great writing is all about. . Should the author read this review I am on bended knee asking that you continue please to write. You do great things with your mind when you put it on paper. For those of you considering reading this author and you won't be sorry. I am overwhelmed by it all. Thank you for the opportunity to share this experience happy reading, enjoy.
