About Ifeoma Onyefulu

I like stories and I love telling stories to schoolchildren, and I think that's why I feel very at home writing my children's books. I come from a family that likes storytelling, My grandfather was a very good storyteller and he loved entertaining people with his magical stories, where animals come alive, and I think I have inherited some of his skills.

I have written 23 children's books and one play titled No Water In The Jungle, performed last year (August 2019) in London, UK

I have won awards for some of my books, which are published by Frances Lincoln Ltd. Here Comes Our Bride and Ikenna Goes To Nigeria won CABA (Children Africana Book Award) in USA.
