Mary stood there and allowed him to gag her — there was nothing else she could do. Once gagged, he snapped a collar on her — one that had a leash attached. He walked away, the leash in his hand. Mary had to hurry to keep up.

They walked a fairly long way — perhaps a hundred feet, and came to an area that had been cleared, save for a plastic matte and a bucket. He took a moment to clip the end of the leash to a snap at about eye-level, then turned to Mary. He turned and started to walk away, then stopped and turned back toward the hapless woman. “By the way, your name from now on is DIMA, remember that.” He was through the door and gone a moment later.
