Again, really enjoyed this second book. This book is slightly darker and sadder than her first book. And this is why I enjoyed it so much. The books in this series are not the same formula as some books are where all you need to do is insert the new names, add a slightly different scene and hey presto, new book in series. Skully's series is not like that. Which is very refreshing, and allows the reader to enjoy them as stand alone books or part of the series. Great writing, depth, characters and story-telling. Looking forward to her other books.
