I was born wanting to sing, play guitar and write songs. I would spend hours as a small child pretending to be a singing cowboy. On a rocking horse, complete with cowboy hat, boots, and six guns. As a senior in high school I was the only guy in choir. In college I traveled around the Midwest with an anti drug show and sang songs and managed a coffee house. I started riding the train to Chicago once a week for voice lessons with a 75 year old Vocal Tuning Teacher the only one on earth. She trained me to teach Vocal Tuning and helped me write a new book on Vocal Tuning Teach Yourself Singing. A few years later I wrote a much larger singing book and now a giant one summing up my life's work as the only Vocal Tuning teacher on earth. I have helped 1000's of children, teens, adults and seniors who had a desire to sing but had out of tune voices, tune their voices so they could sing. You tune your voice, it changes from being out of tune to sounding beautiful and musical. Tuning Your Voice is the first step in singing. Just like a guitar or violin or piano player can only sound good, if their musical instrument is tuned first. Tune your voice then you will be able to sing. If you can talk you can sing. The ability to talk and sing is a gift from God to everyone.
