About Lynelle Clark

The desire to write was a silent wish I rarely talked about, keeping personal journals year after year. In my late forties, I found myself overwhelmed by life's experiences.

This became a trigger that launched me into a new season. I have discovered much about myself and explore the many facets of writing, finding my peace within the walls of paper.

I am a self-published multi-genre author and write short stories in my native tongue regularly. I collaborate with co-authors in different projects and find the connection fulfilling and of great value.

In my free time, I judge stories, do some beta reading, create new products and YouTube videos, and love to read and leave reviews.

Reviews of Love at War: A Love Story. by Lynelle Clark

Stephan Uys reviewed on June 20, 2021

"Forgive yourself ... God is on your side."
This line is part of a conversation taken from Love at War. In this book the reader is taken from one crisis to another, from one war to another. In every situation the characters feel the need to talk to God. From their wars, or despite of their wars, love and Love still finaly overcome.
The reader is left with the understanding that God is ALWAYS there, no matter your crisis or your war. If you take the time to look, you will surely find Him.

Although I found the book inspirational, I also found it difficult to read. I could not sit back and relax while reading, it was like eating a delicious fish that hasn't been deboned properly. That said, a good fish with bones is still far better than a bad fish correctly deboned.

Thanx for a great story Lynelle,

Stephan Uys
