Thank you Very Secret Santa
When I requested this one, I really wanted to read the second book and I always like to read a series in order, so I requested this one too. I'm so glad I did and that my secret Santa was awesome enough to gift it to me. This one hooked me early and I couldn't wait to see where it would lead.
I loved Lucien and his quirky personality. He was so interesting to me. I enjoyed that Jay named his different personality traits and interacted with each one differently, never making him feel different or weird.
Jay was a great character. The way he was so true to himself. He did the right thing by his fiancée and I thought it was well done that he didn't come right and say why. Probably not the fairest to Ellie but at the same time, he wasn't ready to come out and that is a choice everyone should get to make for themselves.
I can't wait to continue on with this series
