Learn From Rejection: Find the Why Behind the No has shifted my perspective of rejection from one of pure negativity and discouragement to something to take constructively. Fitting these ideas into straightforward and organized revelations has made it even easier to remember and connect the book in personally applicable ways. It prompted me to answer crucial questions: What is my current way of reacting to disruptions? What steps do I need to actively take to get out of my cycles of fearing failure? Reading this book was a self-reflective as well as an educational experience that I can use both in my future career-related and personal experiences.

One of the most important aspects of Tom's book is that we are constantly learning and receiving feedback from others and the work spaces in which we utilize our skills. The brillance of Tom's take on rejection is learning to reframe rejection as something that limits you towards understanding how to guage how conducive the environment is for you long term growth. Tom's charge to his readers is to understand how to enhance our learning styles in the work space and utilizing those skills for growth while understanding the constant changing environment around us and how we fit into that space. Couldnt recommend a better book on the topic than this one!

I enjoyed reading "Learn from Rejection" by Dr. Tom Jones. Dr. Jones offers practical strategies for dealing with rejection in the workplace. Upon leaving college, I didn't understand why my ideas or suggestions were rejected when I first entered the workforce. I mistakenly assumed that everyone in the workplace had their sights set on improving their performance and working collaboratively toward a common goal. Not so; people have a variety of reasons for why they do what they do and reject what you are offering. While "Learn from Rejection" assists you in handling rejection it, more importantly, helps you find a culture in which rejection is a stepping stone to better performance, collaboration, and productivity.

Making the most out of struggles that in turn create triumph. More so than ever, we are living in times that come with it external forces that create uncertainties, doubts, and underappreciation that can potentially influence the individuals mindest at an internal level. What Tom E. Jones has done here is break down the social aspects in the work environment that pinpoint common issues on why one is rejected one way or another. Using real-life examples throughout this book helps paint a clear picture for the reader to visualize relatable instances in which help clarify and also discover resolve in one's own experience in the workforce. This is an exceptional book for one who seeks to find accountability in oneself and discover the opportunity to be humble enough to "put oneself in someone else's shoes" while utilizing the power of "Deep Listening" that will benefit everyone as a "Win/Win" who is apart of their daily life inside and out of the work environment. In the following book Learn From Rejection: Find the Why Behind the No written so ever considerately and sympathetically by Tom E. Jones, the idea of rejection--a universal issue indeed--is portrayed as the most detrimental factor in life but also as the tremendous stimulant for growth and success. As one of the readers of the valuable work who fears exclusion or the feeling of such itself, I learned not only to willingly accept them into my existence but to utilize those experiences as lessons or precepts for my pursuit of opportunity and achievement; hence, this book is recommended to the student or the early initiators of the career life who might face or have already dealt with the harshest reality of the world.
