I actually have the hard copy of this book and read it several months ago. Four women kidnapped and held captive for months. Follow this story and watch the transformation of these women in captivity for seven months. Unravel the mystery as to why this crime takes place. A fascinating read. Different and provacative. Whit Gentry scores on this one!

Where did this guy Gentry come from? This is his first? I can't wait to read his second and hope it is forthcoming. He sets such good detail it makes the reader feel inside the plot and yet it keeps moving with surprises. Don't get bogged down with the setting of the scene because when it opens up you need a seat belt.

This book had me at page one! Could not put it down and like all good books was so sorry when I finished it. How do you not like the supposedly bad guy, Jake?? You can't, was rooting for him all the way thru. Hurry up, Mr. Gentry, get the next one out. I am in awe of good writers and Mr. Gentry is definitely in that elite group.

When's the next book from Whit Gentry coming out? His first book makes me want to read more. Mr. Gentry does exactly what a mystery writer should do... He hooks you in from page one and keeps you hanging until the end. I was most impressed with how the writer could make me like Jake. He's the bad guy, right? It's not easy to make a reader like a kidnapper. Hopefully, there are many more books to come from Whit Gentry.

Revenge: No Statute of Limitations Is a must read mystery. The story took me in within the first two pages. All the characters were described in such detail and the more you read, the more you did not want to stop reading. I would recommend this book to everyone that loves a good mystery and suspense read. I am looking forward to many more of Whit Gentry's book.

Review by Joan Adamak
This is a mystery only in the sense that the reader is in the heads of the protagonist Jake, the detectives trying to solve the case, the four rich women who are victims and the husbands of these victims. Not until about the last third of the book, does the reader find out why, who and what is involved to cause this complex process of him reconstructing a house to imprison these four women, strict conditions under which the women must live for seven months, that what he thought would be a snap turns out to be as wearing on him as the women. As the story unfolds, the lives of each of the couples is a plot in itself, including a male and female detective and how the personalities of these women change over the months.
The reader, as well as the women, are kept in suspense as to whether he eventually will hurt them or kill them, but because no demands for ransom are made in the first few weeks, the detectives are helpless because there are no clues, no weaknesses of the kidnapper, finally leaving them without any purpose for the kidnapping. .
I generally do not care much for mysteries because the plots are usually the same, but this one is so different that I couldn’t put it down. It was just an accident that I happen to purchase the book and I am so glad. The only weakness in the book is that the editors, whom the author hired to edit the book, did a terrible job and it is full of typos and wrong words, which would detract from the story if the plot and scenes were not so powerful. I discussed this with the author and he is appalled and at a loss as to what to do about the non e-books because of the expense involved to republish. I read an e-book.
I truly recommend this book to everyone. If this is a first published book for this author, all I can say is “wow.”

What a fun read. I really like our Indie writers. I was interested from page one, Why would someone kidnap 4 women? The more I read the more the story drew me in and the faster the pace, multiple stories going on at the same time, the kidnapper, the women, the FBI investigation, the husbands, the romance between the FBI agents.
I didn't know whether to hate or love the kidnapper, how can you like a kidnapper??
The author did a good job of making the story very believable. I had read in a review that the reader would be putting friends, neighbors, coworkers, etc in the characters places and I caught myself doing just that. That made for a nice twist to reading the story.
I kept looking for the REVENGE and was rewarded with what I thought was the Revenge but later found out what the real revenge was. The ending was a surprise and I loved it. Pure Revenge that is timed for the MOST effect.
GOOD FUN read -- I recommend it

Revenge: No Statute of Limitations by Whit Gentry

If you carry a grudge, you will find a pair of kindred souls in this debut thriller.

Whit Gentry has successfully created a positive reputation with his first book. His characters were believable and portrayed with clarity and panache. I found myself highly outraged at the circumstance and oddly sympathetic.

Evoking emotion always indicates to me a consummate story teller. Whit has certainly evoked emotions in this book. A masterful display of creative ambivalence characterizes the plot.

I look forward to reading more from Whit Gentry.

I highly recommend the book.
