A delightful journey back to classic horror.

In this modern age of so many sub-sub-sub genres and specialties, it was a real treat to pick this up and find it to be a true horror tale in the classic sense. Mr Brunell perfectly captured the contrast of idyllic and terrifying, in both his settings and his portrayal of community and family values.

Gruesome, macabre, fascinating, at at times so horrifically real, you are forced to pause and wonder... where, nay HOW exactly did Doug Brunell do his research?
Written with amazing back to back plot, and character development, it's nearly impossible to put down.
Get ready Friends, you're in for a long night.

This story is wonderfully creepy! Doug Brunell weaves a fantastic tale of a family vacation gone awry that will send shivers down your spine. I found myself continually surprised when I was reading - you definitely can't take anything for granted with this one. If you're looking for a haunting, gruesome story that takes nothing for granted then you're in the right place.
