Connections is a fun little freebie by Selena Kitt geared toward those that favor a more romantic element to their erotic reading. It is the story of a lonely girl named Cathy whose only real connection to the outside world is through making prank phone calls to total strangers selected randomly from a phone book! This all ends when one of her calls leads to a connection with someone that pushes her buttons prompting her to call again. If only the prank calling of my youth had such delicious results!

This was a simply breathtaking story. The image of all those phone books and the sadness of letting them go really captured the essence of Cathy. I loved everything about this story, from the heartbreaking loneliness of a girl looking for a place for herself in a world where she felt completely alone, to the gentle opening of heart and body as two people come together.

This is a surprisingly moving and sensuous story. The hero is such a great guy, patiently and gently coaxing the heroine out of her shell and he has a great sense of humour too. The romance is believable and the ending is nice. All in all, a great sampling of the author's writing.

Takes a while to get started. The beginning is boring, but it's not bad.

A perfect mix of erotica and heartfelt characters. The author allows us to feel the damaged loneliness of this girl, and then experience her first tentative steps in reconnecting with others. The relationship between Cathy and Seth is sweet, and I felt like I was right there with them as they made love. If you're looking for a pleasant read on a rainy afternoon, give this one a try. Well done.

Nice read. The beginning of it reminded me so much of the Movie Crash. It would make a great opening to a movie. Depicts a very lonely person very well. Well-written.
